I've noticed in Sports Photography it is not just about having skill in taking a photograph it is also about having the right equipment. To photograph different sporting actions requires different cameras and lenses (300mm f/2.8 lens which I haven't got!)
The other factor is it does not matter how much equipment you have it takes time and skill to become a good sports photographer. Some people have a natural ability to take the perfect shot...
